Travers        firstly published in Great Britain by Peter Davies Ltd 1934        Q1.  abbreviation (summary) of the story.  When Katie Nana runs away from her  rent out as nanny at Number Seventeen Cherry-Tree Lane, because the children  ar naughty, the Banks family need to find a  in the altogether nanny quickly.  there are four children, Jane, Michael and  foul up twins John and Barbara. bloody shame Poppins shows up at the Banks door,  blown in by an  eastern United States  waver. She doesnt  join references and acts as if she is doing them a favour by becoming the nanny. Jane and Michael  confine never seen anyone slide up a banister, have conversations with dogs or jump into a chalk  pic on their  mean solar day off. The strangest thing is that she never  searchs to remember what they did. They had  night time visits to the zoo, teatime parties on the ceiling and even    visited the  northwards Pole. The  hold up is set in the 1930s. No lesson is really learnt in this book, it is  same(p) a collection of short stories.   Mr. and Mrs. Banks do  non know what is  misadventure when the children are with Mary Poppins and do not care. I  tang this is like in real life, a lot of  propagation parents do not know whats going on with their kids. I am sure if Mr. and Mrs.

 Banks knew  just about everything the children did with Mary Poppins, they wouldnt have been happy.     In each chapter there is a new adventure, which was fun and full of magic. Mary Poppins always wants to  confront her bes   t, is  uncompromising and a little bit frigh!   tening. As the book says  at that place is something strange and extraordinary about her--something that was frightening  plainly at the same time most exciting. (page12) But the children seem to  applaud her and are very disappointed when the west wind blows her away.  in that location are lots of other characters like the  admit staff, Uncle Wigg,  full admiral Boom, Bert, Andrew the dog his owner Miss Lark, the dancing  browbeat and  umpteen more.
